Eight out of 10 low income, food insecure seniors do not receive the home-delivered meals they need. Meals on Wheels organizes local volunteers to take a warm home-cooked meal to area seniors every day over the lunch hour. At least one Chisago Lake Lutheran member volunteers every day of the month. Over 50 seniors are served every day in the community.
