ANNOUNCEMENTS:
TAKE THE PASTOR'S CHALLENGE!
God gives us 168 hours each week to live our lives to the fullest with every second of every minute of every hour of every day as a precious gift. In response to the gift and blessing of this life, why not respond to God's grace by giving back in the form of at least one hour each week in public worship (so that you might encourage and connect with other believers and followers of Jesus); at least one hour each week in Bible study (so that you might grow in your understanding of God's Word and God's will for your life); and at least one hour each week in dedicated Christian service to others (so that you might use your blessings to be a blessing to others). This is an invitation and challenge to be part of what God is doing through the mission and ministry of Chisago Lake Lutheran Church and beyond!
Join Our “Word Alive” Men’s/Women’s Bible Study!
Want to go deeper (with God’s Word, not snow)? Join Pastor Brian each Monday at Noon in the Green Room. Each week we will be taking a sneak peek at the readings for the following Sunday. This is an informal gathering to delve deeper into the upcoming readings for the next Sunday. Feel free to join us for your lunch break and bring your lunch if you desire!
Make Alpha a New Year's Resolution And Invite Your Friends!
At one point or another, everyone struggles with life’s biggest questions. Chisago Lake Lutheran Church is offering Alpha Course Sundays at 10:15am in our Green Room. Each session will begin with refreshments, feature a large group video presentation, conclude with time for honest questions and small group conversations. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation and lasts about 60 minutes. This is an incredibly engaging and relevant series and an excellent resource and experience for anyone!

JOIN US FOR OUR CELEBRATION OF MISSION AND MINISTRY (Formerly known as the Annual Meeting) SUNDAY, JANUARY 29
Join us as we celebrate and give thanks for our 169th year of mission and ministry here at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church immediately following worship on Sunday, January 29 in the Fellowship Hall. Come see a special video of what God has done through Chisago Lake Lutheran over the past year and help chart the next chapter as we elect new leaders for the Church Council and our various ministry committees/teams and as we allocate the resources that will fuel our worship, outreach, service and evangelism in the coming year. We invite everyone to "Come and See" the "New thing" God is doing in our midst in this next season of mission and ministry!
MINISTRY OPPURTUNITIES
Sunday Morning Prayer Team! Psalm 100:4 says: "Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!" In my previous call, I was blessed to have a Sunday morning prayer team of men and women who were willing to pray over the Church, our worship service, and our pastors each Sunday about 30 minutes prior to our first service. While weird at first (I had no previous experience of such a thing), I came to treasure the blessing this was to me and our congregation to know that each Sunday our church and leaders were covered in prayer. I would invite any CLLC members who are interested to contact me and become part of a rotation for this purpose each Sunday morning. It would mean coming to worship about 35 minutes early and take about 10 minutes total. Email me at revdup@chisagolakelutheran.org if interested or contact the office.
Visitation: We will be starting up a lay visitation/home communion ministry team at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church. If you would like more information and are interested in joining this important ministry please contact Pastor Brian at revdup@chisagolakelutheran.org or contact the office.
Coffee Servers: Looking for hosts and hostesses to serve coffee after Worship on Sundays. This is an easy and fulfilling way to connect and serve! Contact the office if you have dates that will work!
